

Mary Frances was born on February 9, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph J. Warhula and Alberta Mary Ellis Warhula.
Mary Frances spent most of her life living in Philadelphia, PA. She met her life partner, William Downey, in the early 1980’s. Together, they operated a towing business, Roxborough Towing, that Bill started in 1967. While living in Philadelphia, they enjoyed going to car shows, towing conventions, eating at Diva’s Diner, and spending time with their grandchildren. Mary was Roman Catholic by faith and enjoyed crafting, cooking, and baking. Bill preceded her in death in 2020.
For the past 8 years, Mary Frances called Clearfield, PA her home. She loved her two cats, Morris and Baby, and enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Anthony Williams, his wife, Rachel, and her great grandson, Jude, also residents of Clearfield, whom all cared for her dearly.
Mary Frances is survived by her three daughters, Mary Frances Steele, Shannon Marie Mulhern, and Kimberly Ann Knecht; fourteen grandchildren, Anthony, CJ, Jessica, Katherine, Nicholle, Danielle, Michael, Billy, Danielle, McKenzie, Justin, Jaida, Ryan, and Evan; four great grandchildren, Giavanna, Avyannah, Emery, and Jude; and two siblings, Joseph Edward Warhula and Frances Ann Warhula.
Honoring Mary’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date TBD.
