Peter J. Vallery Sr.

He was born on December 29, 1927 in Piketon, OH, the son of the late Edward and Nellie (Gee) Vallery. On December 28, 1954 he married Evelyn (Bowman) Vallery, she survives.

Peter retired from the United States Airforce with a rank of Master Sargent in 1969. He served during the Korean Conflict. After his separation from the Airforce he went on to work construction for Greydon-Bowers.

He was a member of L.O.O.M #97, the American Legion Post #6 and the VFW in Clearfield.

Peter is survived by his wife, two sons: Steven and his wife Mary Vallery of Osceola Mills and Peter Vallery Jr. of Clearfield; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters: Victoria Walk and Pamela Vallery, a granddaughter, Stephanie Vallery, two grandsons: Shawn and Justin Demko; five brothers: Virgil, Donald, Dean, Harry and Richard Vallery.

Burial will be in Bradford Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc.
