Robert L. Yeager

He was born on October 1, 1934 the son of the late Ida Yeager Hutton. On June 6, 1963 he married Ellen (Swales) Yeager, she survives.

He graduated from Curwensville High School in 1955.

Robert retired from Swales Styleline Upholstery. He was member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church and the Lions Club.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, playing cards with his friends, but above all he was a family man and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was a avid Steelers and Pirates fan.

He is survived by his in-laws: Elaine (William) Rowles of Clearfield, Ralph (Carol) Swales of Clearfield, Robert (Adele) Swales of Morrisdale and Lorena (Lyle) Dixon of Clearfield; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and sister-in-law, Eloise Swales.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Robert B. Goldenberg officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Joy Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 7:00-9:00pm on Monday, May 9 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9:00am until the hour of service at the funeral home.
