William A. Condon

Born January 15, 1949 in Clearfield, he was the son of the late Theodore and Helen ‘Till’ (Hurley) Condon.

Bill had been employed at Clearfield Taxidermy for several years, and also was a self-employed painter and hung wallpaper. He was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield. He loved to watch classic TV shows and he absolutely loved to work. He would often be found at Legend’s eating his lunch. Bill also had a passion for cooking and playing the role of chef for his friends. He will truly be missed by his friends and family.

Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Krebs) Condon; a son, David Solarczyk and his wife Colleen of New Jersey; a granddaughter, Lilly Solarczyk; a nephew, Jason Pentz; and many dear friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Pentz.

A service for Bill will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11 AM at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Joseph and the Elizabeth Shaw Public Library, 1 S. Front Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
