In Memory Of Abdul Martin Kamara March 7, 1991 – April 14, 2011

Abdul Martin Kamara, 20, of Clearwater, Florida, died April 14, 2011, in Freetown, Sierra Leone, three days prior to returning home to the United States, after completing 11 months of visiting with his grandparents. Abdul Martin Kamara was born March 7, 1991, in Silver Spring,

Montgomery County, Maryland, United States of America, to Martin and Aminata Kamara.

He attended Countryside High School in Clearwater, Florida. He continued his high school education at Government Secondary Boys School in Magburaka, Sierra Leone, during his short visit. He enjoyed reading his Bible, composing and playing music with his friends. He enjoyed his family and attending First Christian Church in Clearwater, Florida.

In the last day prior to his passing he had expressed to his mother how grateful he was for the intimate and passionate love he received as a child and how he dearly loved his family. Today we rejoice in the knowledge that he has passed the barrier of time as we know it and is forever at home with the Savior he faithfully served for nearly 20 years.

He is survived by his parents: Martin Yamba Kamara and Aminata Karim Kamara (Florida). Brothers: Abdulai Martin Kamara (S/Leone), Alie Martin Kamara (Florida), Martin Yusuf Kamara (Maryland). Sisters: Beatrice Bonwara Kamara, and Martha Kadijatu Kamara, of Florida. Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins include: Aminata Dauda Kamara (S/Leone), Zainab Conteh, Solomon Conteh, Joseph Othello Kamara, Dora Othello Kamara, Sanusie Saccoh, Ibrahim Sangarie, Mariatu Sangarie, Isata Bangura, Famata Saccoh, Moses Kamara, James Kamara, Mohammed Academy Kamara, Douglas Kamara, Samuel S. Koroma, Margaret Koroma, Beatrice Sinah Kamara(S/Leone), Martha Kamara(S/Leone), Abdul Karim Bangura, Josephine Bendu, Titty Sesay, Isatu Kamara, Mary Bangura, Ramatu Bangura, Alhaji Alpha Bangura, Abdul Bangura, Zainab Bangura, Ibrahim Sorie Bangura.
