

Barbara Page Barbara Jean Page, 86, passed away February 28, 2017 at ManorCare Health Services, Dunedin, Florida. Barbara was born November 11, 1930 in Cairo, Illinois to John Frederick and Elsie Joy (Lonas) Foster. September 16, 1948, she and Charles Edward Larry were married in Cairo, Illinois. They had two children, Charles Edward Larry, Jr. (Emmylou Studier) of DeKalb, Illinois and Pamela Sue Larry Gray of Clearwater, Florida. Charles Larry, Sr. died July 24, 1958. As a young widow, Barbara moved the family to Carbondale, Illinois and attended Southern Illinois University, earning Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees. She taught business classes at Carbondale Community High School. June 8, 1972, Barbara and Bill L. Page married in Carbondale. She joined Bill in Rushville, Illinois where she was employed by the State of Illinois as Assistant Regional Superintendent of Schools for Brown, Cass, and Schuyler counties. Barbara and Bill retired to Clearwater, Florida. Bill passed away January 15, 1989. Barbara is survived by her two children; three grandchildren, Madria Gray of Mayfield, Kentucky, Joshua Gray of Carbondale, Illinois and Wesley (Brenda) Gray of St. Petersburg, Florida; six great grandchildren, Kristin (Adrian) Martinez, Leesha Southall, Josiah Southall, Rebekah Southall, Elizabeth Gray, and Logan Gray; three great great grandchildren, Cesar Martinez, Selena Martinez, and Kamon Southall; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Edward Foster; son-in-law, Ralph E. Gray, Jr.; and both her husbands. There will be no services with cremation handled by Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home of Clearwater. Her ashes will be buried in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens, Villa Ridge, Illinois at a later date.
