Charles "Chas" Conlon

Charles “Chas” Conlon (66) of Largo FL, died suddenly on June 8th, 2023. Chas was born November 19, 1957 in London, England and at 32 years old moved to the United States where he met the love of his life, Denise Hughes-Conlon. Six weeks later they were married!

In 1993, they welcomed their son Christopher who the sun rose and set on. Chas was the proud owner of Cockney Roofing, loved making his sweetheart laugh and was the kind of gentlemen that would “literally” give you the shoes off his feet! His giving spirit and love of all things British, especially the Chelsea “futbol” team was shared with many. He also enjoyed hosting the annual Boxing Day celebration, chocolate, motorcycles and music.

He is survived by his wife Denise, his son Christopher and his family; Morgan and two grandsons, Troy & Leo. The boys loved “Granddad” and spending time all together. Chas also has siblings Tony, Thomas & Ann still residing near London.

There will be a rite of remembrance ceremony at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, Florida 33759 on Saturday, June 17th from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
