

Charles H. “Charlie” Jacot passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 in Seminole, FL. He was born on February 3, 1933 in Pearl River, NY, to James and Marjorie Jacot. After serving in the Air Force, he earned a pharmacy degree from George Washington University. He worked as a pharmacist for most of his life, after which he had a coin shop, taught and trained pharmacy technician students and volunteered at the Clearwater Free Clinic. He was an active member of Suncoast Community Church.
Charlie was loved by everyone he met. He had a keen sense of humor. He was outgoing and hardworking. He loved ice cream, Labrador Retrievers, golf, tennis, fishing and working outdoors. He was a faithful provider for his children and for his beloved wife, Jeanie, to whom he was married for 66 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Jacot; daughters, Linda Mann of Seminole and Sandra (Dan) Daly of Tuscaloosa; son, Steven (Lesa) Jacot of Seminole; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy (Bill) Nixon.
He will be laid to rest at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park. A public memorial service followed by a reception will be held on Thursday, September 28th, at 2 PM at Suncoast Community Church, 12855-110th Ave, Largo, FL, 33774. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Missionary Athletes International for the benefit of Paul Shedd, 8510 McAlpine Park Dr., Suite #109, Charlotte, NC 28211
