Born on April 2, 1950 in Dearborn, Michigan, Charles lived an independent and simple life. He was a quiet collector at heart and took great enjoyment in his cars, coins, and Christmas decorations.
Charles is survived by his three children, Karissa Cooper, Jason Parker, and Douglas (Nichole) Parker; his sisters, MaryEllen (Tim) Shaltis, and Karen (Eric) Hartrick, 9 grandkids; and extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Dick Parker and Wanza Maxine Christie, and his sister, Joanne Vanderzel.
A small family gathering will be held in Michigan at a later date to spread his ashes per his wishes. He will be remembered as a simple and kind man by those who knew him, as he always had a friendly smile to offer.
