He was born in Quebec, Canada on February 4, 1939. Danial graduated from Aylmer Ontario High School and received a teaching degree from Teacher’s College London Ontario and Business degree from University of Detroit Michigan. He was married to the love of his life Barbara Jean Hunter on June 24, 1967.
Danial had many careers, in his life he was a Ship Captain, Salesman, he worked at Bell Telephone, Benras Watch, Dymo Labels, and in Real Estate.
He was a member of the Kawanis, Kinsmen, and the Elks, and had a passion for traveling and was quite the history buff.
He is predeceased by his son Brian Hayes. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Hayes, Daughters Julie (Jim) Carazola, Christine (James) Nelson, and grandchildren Sierra, Jimmy, Madelyn, Katie, and Colton.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 1:00pm with a memorial service for Danial at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759, followed by a reception from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
