I was Dave's girlfriend in 1987. We lived down a few blocks from his parents. I met his family once even though we worked and lived together. We dated over 2 years and always had Good times. I  still can not believe he is gone so soon. We were still friends and still in touch. Everyone called him crazy Dave because he lived his life the way he wanted . He never cared what anybody thought. He traveled and lived a good life. I am sorry for his loss. I am also sorry to his family for their loss. If you knew Dave you liked him. My memories of Dave is that we dated, worked together   at  Cardion and lived together in Selden for 2 years. I will never forget   the good times. I just found out yesterday  August   16th 2021. I was worried about him in Afghanistan .  And  I went to send him a belated happy birthday   and saw all the posts from my ex Co workers and from his cousin   and sister. I am so sorry for your loss I cannot believe   he is truly gone. we were always   friends. RIP Dave.  you know I will never forget   you

Hey Uber. For the 15+ years we knew each other I always knew I could count on an infectious smile and a funny story about some random thing or another. I also knew I could count on you to do a great job at rallying the troops and organizing the unorganizable. You handled hard problems and hard people with a touch I could only hope to emulate. You made the days worth looking forward to and the nights more interesting than they should allowed to be.

I'm devastated that you left us so early. But I'm thrilled to have had the time with you, and will always remember those moments as some of the best in my life.

Rest easy brother.

I was 8 yrs old when David was born..felt like my first baby. He was cute and he was good, and enjoyed visiting us. He grew up to be strong, handsome, funny and athletic.  His life was unusual...so many parts of the world and interesting adventures.  He even visited Emily when in Dublin  as she just reminded me. He was generous and kind  often bringing gifts from all over the world.  He always wanted to take care of his mother.  They were so close and she looked out for him always.
I will miss David calling..announcing to me that it was my favorite nephew.  He'd ask: "whassup"?? He and Bob would talk forever about everything  and Rob would often join in
 The giants vs the Patriots and recently alot of talk about Tom Brady. He called Bob his big brother..and they really loved each other. They both loved John Wayne movies which is funny,, and we remember that when we drink from our John Wayne mug he gave Bob.. Our loss is hard as we had really hoped he would be ok.  I was with him 14 yrs ago when he was thought to be dying..and our prayers helped him to recover.  It was so difficult to accept that he could not work and so unfair.
We love you David..always. and will miss you everyday. 

Hello Uber,
Boy, what can I say other than you are going to make this really, really, hard. Nok and I have been in utter shock since hearing the news.

So I had to have a think and recall I knew you back in those early STS days leading a lot of the company team games and happy hours, but it wasn’t until we connected in Singapore and Hong Kong that I really got to know you. Boy those were great times that we really thought would never end; going to the Rugby-7 championship – waiting in line all night for tickets, the famous photo at the HK seafood market, sessions at the Falcon, the Beer Castle, trips to Macau – the Posada, Fernandos, onto Beijing – the 21st Century, the Mexican wave, the Hidden Tree, Mr. Ye and finally where all roads lead – Bangkok, where they are just too many people, places and stories to list.

But things that cannot go on forever don’t. You ended up going on assignments in the ‘STANS and I hung up my tool belt and got behind a desk and a computer. But through the years we had a lot of SKYPE calls over a beer online and there was always politics, sports, the next R&R&R&R break coming in Thailand to talk about. We had a small one in Thailand in 2014’ish and then when I stayed the winter of 2014-15 in the apt. in Clearwater and you made it seem like old times again. Driving around in the Jeep, the Buffet out at the beach, Jack Willie’s, Nok’s flea market, having my car engine blow the first week I arrived and who could forget the Budget truck to bring all of our crap back to MD. 

I have often wondered if years from now Apichet, Mark, Nok, Mook, you and I would all be hanging around some Tiki bar in Pattaya talking about the old times, now that is not going to happen. But whatever happens you will always be with us and have a glass at the table.

Uber, you have always been Uber; even before Uber was Uber. I am sure you are having a beer somewhere with Leo and Mr. John. I will raise my glass now. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Dave and I knew each other dating back to 19 85 when I first started working at cardion Incorporated in Woodbury and he was the life of the party! He will truly be missed it was always such a good time being around him always made you smile. RIP David

It is hard to imagine a world without Dave.  His energy and enthusiasm could fill a stadium.

Together, we had the opportunity to "share a beer" on six continents.  Getting to Antartica was always part of our discussions.

Dave was a warm, decent human being.  I will always admire him for being generous, loyal, and fun.  I keep thinking about the times, in our travels, when he'd help out a stranger, or call out a bully, while others looked the other way.

And, most of all, I'll always remember the fun times and laughter...

I have known Dave for many years, we worked at the same company, however, I never had the pleasure of working with Dave. A stand up guy who always had a smile on his face, gone way to soon. RIP Dave. Condolences to the family.

I'm so saddened by this tragic news. Dave was a long time dear friend and coworker. We worked at STS in Hauppauge 1990-1997 then again we worked at Datapath 2005-2008. Our friendship has been an everlasting friendship for 31 years and we last saw each other at the Satellite conference in Washington DC 2018. 

Dave was a caring giving man with an incredible zest for life and great sense of humor. He would do anything for anybody in need. We worked hard, and played hard while traveling the globe. We worked on many projects together, but the one that stands out is our project in the Galapagos Island of San Cristobal I will never forget the time we had. One morning as I was working on a system I was singing an old Italian tune 'Non dimenticare' and Dave heard me and ever since he nicknamed me 'Dimenticar' I'm so going to miss Dave with all my heart. My deepest condolences to his Mom and siblings May he rest in eternal 🙏 peace. Going to miss you Dimenticar. 😇 You finally earned your wings brother.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Dave. I met Dave a long time ago when we both worked at Cardion. At Cardion we were teammates on the industrial softball team that the company sponsored for years. He was also a great friend and someone you could count on to have lots of laughs. His laugh was contagious and he was always up for a good time. I will keep Dave in my prayers and he will always be in my memories. I can still hear him calling me “Unit” something I will remember fondly.

I cannot think of my childhood without thinking of David.  We were all so close when we were little.  Somehow, as time has passed, and I got married and had kids, the distance between me and all of my cousins seems to be so wide.  How I regret that distance.  With FB it is now easier to rediscover all of my kin. One by one, I am reconnecting a bit.

David was smart.  He was a world traveler.  He always had something interesting to say.  I remember him being full of energy and very athletic when we were kids.  The boys were always running around and doing something.  Marlene always said " If you are going to play with the boys, you might get hurt. ..." She was telling us that if we wanted to step into the arena, we had to be ready for the consequences.  

I remember great barbecues, and your pool.  Then the great bbq's at Christopher's.

Rest in peace my cousin. I was so shocked and sad when I hear the news.

I met Dave in 2007 on a job we teamed up to do, he was the lead. We also worked together downrange years later as well.  We always found time to catch up.  He taught me so much about our business.  Rest easy Uber
