David was, at his core, a devoted family man. Nothing mattered more to him than his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. He was their constant—steady, present, and endlessly supportive. Whether offering advice, lending a hand, or simply being there, David showed his love through action and consistency. His family was his greatest pride, and he made sure they knew it every single day.
David had a gift for finding comedy in everyday life and for delivering perfectly timed one-liners that could lighten any moment. Family gatherings were better because he was there—full of stories, quick wit, and laughter. Even in challenging times, David always found a way to keep a smile on the faces of those around him.
While he enjoyed staying busy and being on the go, David was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved most. His presence filled rooms, his laughter filled hearts, and his love built a family that will carry him forward.
David’s legacy lives on through his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and the countless memories they will forever hold close. He will be missed more than words can say and remembered always—with love, laughter, and gratitude for a life so well lived.
David is survived by his wife Belinda, his children: Philip Vilmure (Brittany O’Bryant Vilmure) & Nikki Diehl (Daniel Diehl), his grandchildren: Philip, Marlee, & Levi, and his siblings: Kathy, Judy, Eddie, Liz, Mary, & Daniel. He is at peace in heaven with his mom and dad, Philip and Joann Vilmure.
