David Boyd Weber, 76, of Sanford, Florida, passed away on September 12, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Donna Marie Weber (Shepard), and his parents, Mike and Betty Weber. He is survived by his children, David W. Weber (Melinda), Kevin Weber, Sr. (Elizabeth Diaz), and Keri Sikich (Adam); five grandsons, Drew, Kevin Jr., Carson, Luke, and Mark; his brother, Michael Weber (JoAnne); and many extended family and friends who will miss his conversation, hugs, and humor.
David was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on January 15, 1949, and grew up with a deep love for family. He married his high school sweetheart, Donna, and together they raised three children, always placing family at the center of his life. In 1998, David fulfilled his lifelong dream of moving to Florida, where he enjoyed the sunshine, beaches, and visits from his children and grandchildren.
A man of many passions, David found joy in the simple pleasures of life: attending live music concerts, visiting theme parks and casinos, and traveling—particularly to France, a country he adored. A football fan at heart, he spent countless hours cheering on the Buccaneers and Bengals with his sons, and he was known for his skill as a chess player, playing the game until his last days. Later in life, he also became an avid Wordle player.
David was a devoted Catholic, converting in 2012, and his faith was a central part of his life. He was an active parishioner at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor and later at All Souls Catholic Church in Sanford. A people person, he made friends easily and enjoyed spending time outdoors, where he could connect with others and embrace life. For his career, he excelled in the insurance field in sales and management.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 27th at 11 a.m., followed by a memorial service at Noon at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Clearwater, FL.
