Dolores C. Lassa

Our mother Dolores C. Fitzmaurice, 93, of Clearwater, Florida passed away November 13, 2021. She was born In St. Louis, Missouri on April 6, 1928 to parents Loretta Gross Fitzmaurice and Austin Fitzmaurice. By her own account she experienced a warm and loving childhood full of many special memories. After high school graduation she attended Harris College with a teaching degree in sight. As fate would have it she met and eventually married our father, Walter L. Lassa, which diverted her career plans to loving and devoted wife and mother. She spent the rest of her life, and with great success, providing for her five children the same warm and loving childhood that she had been blessed with.

Walter B. Scalco (great grandson)

Maria C. Scalco (great granddaughter)

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Walter, by her caring son-in-law Michael, by her tender hearted daughter-in-law Kim, and by her sweet angel granddaughter, Ariel Trinity Lassa, who remained in her heart till the day she passed.

Mom, we will always remember the many wonderful kitchen table conversations, your delight in providing the most magical family gatherings and your endless love and support for your grateful family,
