COLE, Dorothy “Dot” L., 93, of Clearwater passed away March 10, 2016. Dot was born in Wilkes Barre, PA. on Sept. 5, 1922 to Austin and Edna Line. She graduated from Meyers High School and Wyoming Seminary Dean School of Business. She moved to CT and worked at Windsor Locks H.S. as an Educational Secretary. She retired from there in 1978 and moved to Clearwater, FL. After moving to Clearwater, she volunteered at the RCS Food Pantry, the Red Cross and Mease Hospital for several years. She was a member of Skycrest United Methodist Church and their Mary Lydia Guild, Clearwater. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert of 65 years and her daughter, Lois. She is survived by daughter, Helen DeVere; grandsons, Paul (Gloria) and Brian (Brigette); great grandchildren, Robert Anthony, Rebecca and Trevor. Viewing will be from 12:30 pm until service time at 1:00 pm Friday, March 18, 2016 at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL 33759.
