Dorothy M. Horton

Dorothy Marie Horton, 92, loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and friend, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 24, 2019. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and lived in Brooklyn, Long Island and Clearwater the rest of her life. She is rejoicing in Heaven with her husband William Horton, brothers Alex and Sam, sisters Rosie, Vera, Annie, Mary, and grand-daughter Samantha.

Dorothy is already missed, however, she will be loved, cherished, and remembered forever by her loving family; Bill (Sherry) son, Kari Striano; daughter, Debbie Kanaris (Bobby); daughter, and Joe (Jeannine) son, and, her 8 grandchildren; Kacy, Heidi, Kristen, Adam, Crystal, Colin, Clayton, Cory, and 25 great-grandchildren, and very special nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was a beautiful big-hearted, kind and generous soul who always thought of her family. She lived to make people happy, made family and others laugh, and had a unique and loving personality. Dorothy leaves her family and friends with beautiful memories and love in all the hearts she touched.

Dorothy will be cremated and her ashes will be placed in very special places by her children. Dorothy loved her family pets which included many dogs and cats over her lifetime.
