Eileen Lindsay

She was born in the Bronx, New York on November 3, 1933 to William and Bridget Doody from Ireland.

Eileen graduated from Walton High School in the Bronx, New York and then attended night school at City College in Manhattan, New York to earn an Associate's Degree in Secretarial Studies.

Eileen married John Lindsay also from the Bronx, New York on June 26, 1955 and moved with him to Monroe, New York in 1965 to raise their 2 sons.

Eileen remained a stay-at-home Mother until her sons were teenagers and then proceeded to have a 20 plus year career as a Legal Secretary in Manhattan, New York.

Eileen loved movies and was an especially big fan of James Dean, after whom she sometimes claimed to have named her eldest son.

Eileen is survived by her oldest son James, his wife Laurie and their son Philip from Arlington, Massachusetts and her younger son Andrew from Clearwater, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, Florida 33759 at 10am on August 2, 2024.
