

Elizabeth Stribling Cooper 92, Clearwater, FL entered into eternal rest to be with the Lord on Friday, February 24, 2017. Born in Roswell, GA on May 18, 1924. She loved to needlepoint, play bridge, travel, and spend time with her family. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother who loved her family dearly. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband of 72 years, Walter L. Cooper, two sons, Walter (Lynne), Birmingham, AL, Earle (Dawn), Clearwater, FL, three grandchildren, Carol (Dan), Amy (Jon), and John, five great-grandchildren, Chelsea (Edwin), Morgan, Cooper, Griffin, Harper, and one great-great grandchild, Ava. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Cooper Cawthon and brother, Hugh Y. Stribling. Private grave side service for family followed by a Celebration of Life for friends and loved ones at Bellair Country Club on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Noon.
