Evelyn K Startzman

Mrs. Startzman was born April 6, 1926, in Kingstree, South Carolina to Thomas McCroy Kellahan, Sr. and Louriene Viola (Gamble) Kellahan.

She was a loving; wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a Home Maker and retired from employment after 25+ years as Administrative Secretary to the Chief of Police & the Patrol Division of the St. Petersburg Police Department, St. Petersburg, Florida.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Eugene Chapter, Kingstree, South Carolina and the Daughters of American Revolution, Caladesi Chapter, Dunedin, Florida.

She enjoyed sewing and word puzzles.

Mrs. Startzman was preceded in death by; her parents, Thomas McCroy and Louriene Viola (Gamble) Kellahan; siblings, Elizabeth Kellahan Mace, Ann Kellahan Spann, Thomas McCroy Kellahan, Jr., Lillian Kellahan Head; and her husband, James Robert Startzman, Sr.

Surviving family members are; daughter, Jane Ellen Startzman of Akron, Ohio; son, James Robert Startzman, Jr., of Wilmington, Delaware; daughter, Ann Elizabeth Startzman (James) Pollard, of Hudson, Florida; grandchildren, Tyler James (Ashley) Pollard, Austin Robert (Alyssa) Pollard and Sommer Ann Pollard; great grandchild, Beverly Quinn Pollard.

Mrs. Startzman will be laid to rest beside her husband in Sylvan Abbey Cemetery following a family graveside service in celebration of her life held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, Florida 33759.
