

The funeral service has been delayed indefinitely due to COVID-19 concerns in Florida.
Peter was born in Marshall County, Indiana on March 1, 1943. He graduated from Bishop J. O’Connell High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University.
Peter was married to Jackquelyn Lynch on 6/20/75; they would have celebrated their 45th anniversary this year.
Peter was a master electrician with a PE designation and worked as an electrical engineer for Florida Power, Progress Energy and Duke Energy for 34 years. He was a big fan of Clemson and FSU football and enjoyed watching a variety of sporting events. He was an amazing husband, father and friend who would do anything to make sure those around him were always cared for. His Catholic faith was very important to him and he exemplified those values in all he did. He had a way of bringing a smile to anyone he encountered, which always made a lasting impression.
Peter is survived by his wife, Jackquelyn; three children, Jeff Goodwyn and his wife Marci, Christopher Lynch and his wife Micheline, Jason Lynch and his wife Elizabeth; his seven grandchildren Madeline, Hayden, Daniel, Grayson, Ellie, Simon and Sophia; his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.
Peter is preceded in death by his parents, Col. William J. and Margaret F. Lynch; as well as his sisters Billie and Bonnie.
