Geraldine Shriver

Shriver, Geraldine Kirby “Geri” was born in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Cornelius and Hanora Kirby. She was a graduate of Mundelein College and Loyola University. She was preceded in death by her husband Millard William Shriver, Sr. She is survived by five children, Millard William, Jr. (Barbara), Brian (Jana), Michael, Kevin (Amanda), and Kathleen (Robert); eleven grandchildren; sister Maryellen Provenzale Doria (Richard), and four nephews, their wives and children. Geri taught at St. Cecelia Interparochial School for twenty five years and was an active member of the St. Cecelia Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector for many years. She was active in the Clearwater Community serving as president of the Continental Little League, board member of the Clearwater Parks and Recreation, Volunteer at RCS Food Bank, the soup kitchen, Morton Plant Auxiliary, and Clearwater Central Catholic Advisory Board. Geri will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Cecelia School in her memory. The family will receive friends Thursday (Sept 22) from 6 – 8 at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 4:00 p.m. at St. Cecelia Catholic Church.
