Gladys McClung

91 of Largo died Friday August 2nd at home.

Born March 14, 1922 in Morris West Virginia she was the daughter of Lee Otis and Lula Lawson DeMoss. Gladys was a home maker. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and the Society of Military Widows.

She married the late Col. Boniface D. McClung Sept. 21, 1943; he died Nov. 25, 1991. She is survived by two sons Joseph “Mike” McClung and his wife Sherrie and John “Terry” McClung and his wife Anne, brother Lonnie DeMoss of Birch River West Virginia, sisters Janie Acree of Columbus, Ohio and Verge Carte of Villa Rica, Georgia, three grandchildren Gregory, John and Paul and three great grandchildren Jayden, Nathan and David.

Visitation will be 5-7pm Thursday August 8th at Moss Feaster Funeral Home-693 S. Belcher Rd. Clearwater.

A Funeral Mass will be 11 am, Friday, August 9th at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, Clearwater.

Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
