

on Monday morning May 5th 2014 at his home.
Red was born March 2nd 1927, the son of William A. and Laura M. (Cissell) Huber, in
Perryville, Missouri; he was the youngest of 3 siblings. Graduating from Perryville
High School in 1944, H.J. attended Southeast Missouri State University and then
served in the U. S. Air Force; returning after service to attend and graduate from
the University of Missouri in 1950. Red retired from a long rewarding career with
Shell Oil Company in 1986.
He was immediately smitten and married his most beloved wife, Billy L McCulloch
Huber on August 5, 1954; she preceded him to heaven on April 29th 2012. H.J. is
survived by his loving family; daughter & son-in-law, Laura & Tim Parker of
Ooltewah, TN; granddaughter & grandson-in-law, Sarah P & Daniel Williams of Bowie,
MD; granddaughter Alice K Parker of Huntsville, AL and many nieces/nephews, great
nieces/nephews and great-great nieces/nephews.
Over his lifetime, Red had been involved in Mizzou Alumnae, Knights of Columbus,
Elks, American Legion and many other groups. One of his favorite involvements in
later years was working the Safety Harbor Kiwanis Annual Arts & Craft Show
Pancake Breakfast, where for 15 years he sat by the door entrance to take tickets/
money for the club.
H.J. will be laid to rest with the love of his life, Billy, in Perryville MO with
graveside services at a later date.
