James Stephen Chapman

He was born in Flint, Michigan and is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bernadine; daughter, Kristine and husband Dale; grandson Cody; son, Michael and wife, Danielle; sister-in-law, Donna Ricci of Indiana; Ed and Jean Heimann of Albuquerque; Mary and Paul Heimann of West Point, Nebraska; Dorothy Heimann of Bowie, Maryland; Marlene Shea of Glendale, Arizona and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Lyle Chapman and brother, Robert.

He was a military veteran who served during World War II and the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #5738 in Claire, Michigan, a member of the American Legion Post #0382 on Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and the Elks Lodge of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

There will be a Graveside Service on February 28, 2014 at 2:15 p.m. at Bay Pines National Cemetery, Bay Pines, FL. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Moss Feaster Funeral Home in Clearwater, Florida.
