James "Jamie" Martin Roberts

He was 67 years old.

Jamie was born on August 15, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to parents Benjamin P. Jr. and Arlene M. Roberts (nee Beatty).

Jamie is survived by the love of his life, his wife Gayle Roberts; as well as his children, Courtney McNealy (Dirk) and Torrey Roberts (Kim); brothers and sisters, Tim (Sharon) Roberts, Barbara (Pat) Hengestebeck, Chris (Marcia) Roberts and Mary West; grandchildren, Thor & Mina McNealy and Delilah Roberts; step children, Nathan Rice (Rosie), Angela Rice & Rachel Rice and step grandchildren, Kylie, Ethan, Vanessa, Lyric, Jayda & Jaydyn, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Ben & Arlene Roberts and siblings Benjamin P. Roberts, III and Mary Ellen Roberts.

He graduated from Largo High School in 1972 and from FSU in 1976 with a BS degree. He was recently retired from FIS. He was passionate about fishing, golfing, and traveling and enjoyed motorcycle trips with his wife.

He was a generous, caring, compassionate man who will be sorely missed.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, Florida 33759. (727) 796-1992
