

Jim was the only child born to parents Jerry and Mae Witt on April 24, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan.
At the age of 17, he joined the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1953. His proudest moments in his long and dignified life were meeting his wife Ann and having their daughter, Holly.
Jim was a man of traditional values who loved spending time with his family and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
He took great pride in working on the production line at Chrysler in Michigan and working for the school board for the state of Florida.
He was a nurturing, kind hearted, patient, supportive and yet strong fighter, who was an indispensable part of his community.
He always remained physically active even after retirement. He enjoyed golfing, riding his exercise bike, taking walks, and even cutting his own grass at the age of 85.
Survivors include his beloved wife Ann Witt and dear daughter, Holly Witt. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held on January 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM, at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Father Ted Costello.
