Benedetto, John W. 75, of Palm Harbor, FL and Albany, NY passed away on April 21, 2016.The son of the late Paul A. and Anita Sutter Benedetto, was born Jan. 24, 1941 in Catskill, NY. Graduate of Cario Central School (1958) and Syracuse University (1963). John worked for the NYS Department of Labor, retiring in 1997. He then worked as a Rare Book consultant at Bradford Auction Galleries in Sheffield, Mass. In 2011 John and his wife relocated to Palm Harbor, FL. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his wife, Karen; brother, Lenoard; sisters, Anne Del Vecchio and Martha Lang. He is survived by his brother, Gregory; daughter, Ann Stevens (Rob) of McLean, VA; sons, Joseph (Kimm) of Bradenton FL and Paul (Michele) of Tonawanda, NY; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Samantha Stevens, Lindsey, Zachary, Alexander and Anthony Benedetto, Ashley Giuliano and a super group of nieces and nephews. At his request there will be no services. His cremated remains will be placed with his wife Karen at Bay Pine National Cemetery.
