Joseph John Provasoli, a man of diverse talents and unforgettable spirit, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida, with his daughters by his side. Born on May 12, 1951, Joe was remembered for his charismatic sense of humor, his deep passion for gardening, and his innate ability to tinker and fix anything. A true musician and creator, he brought immense joy and fun to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Joe had a knack for whipping up delicious meals with whatever ingredients were on hand, a testament to his resourcefulness and creativity. He imparted invaluable life lessons to his daughters. He taught them how to laugh shamelessly with their entire body and possess a great sense of humor without taking themselves too seriously. He instilled practical skills, like gapping car spark plugs—lessons that, despite some grumbling during hot summer days, were always remembered. Joe also taught the art of transformation: how to turn any random knick-knack into something functional or decorative. He was an original advocate for organic living, emphasizing the importance of self-care and healthy eating. He led his daughters by example to wear their emotions on their sleeve and how to connect with anyone about nearly anything. Everyone in that grocery store line had a chit chat with Joe.
Though never a wealthy man, Joe knew how to live contently with what he had, rich instead with friends and a profound outlook on life. He faced many tough times and adversities, but he never blamed God, always trusting in God's mercy and forgiveness. He encouraged his daughters to never lose faith. Joe was supportive, encouraging, and proud of his daughters and the life choices they made.
Joe is survived by his daughters, Ariana Devine and her husband Brian, and their children Ayla, Oliver, and Otto; and Tullia Yzzi and her husband Nick, and their children Nicholas, Noah, and Nadia. He also leaves behind his cherished sisters, Susan Provasoli and MaryAnn Provasoli.
Joe's legacy of laughter, creativity, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
