

Juliet A Blanco, age 98, of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. She was born in Brooklyn, NY. on August 7, 1925 to Charles and Catherine Scutellaro. Juliet was graduated from PS 97 High School in Brooklyn NY. And then later in life she received her Associates Degree as a Medical Assistant from Tampa Medical College. She was married to Salvatore A. Blanco on October 16, 1948. A marriage that lasted for 58 years until death parted them.
Juliet was a World War II Veteran and served in the Women's Army Air force as a Nurse at the end of the War. After Juliet and Salvatore raised their children in Long Island NY, and a few years in Upstate NY, they moved to Florida in 1974 and then to Palm Harbor in 1982. Juliet worked in the Medical Profession as a Medical Assistant for Javier Bleichner, MD in Palm Harbor, FL. for 23 years. She was a member of Countryside Christian Church and had a passion for dancing, fishing, crafting, reading and playing cards with her grandchildren. She spent the last 2 years at Wickshire where she made many friends as she did throughout her life wherever she lived and worked. Juliet was much loved.
She was predeceased by her Spouse Salvatore A. Blanco 1923-2006. Her youngest brother Edward M Scutellaro predeceased her in death. She was survived by her children Katherine B. Caro, Dennis R. Blanco (Laura) Marc A. Blanco (Susan) predeceased by Gregory C. Blanco (Rosalie) Grandchildren Michael Caro (Sarah) Brandon Caro, Morgan Blanco, Jennifer Nichols (Bryan) Jessica Nelson (Joseph) Michelle Blanco, Arielle Blanco, David Blanco Great Grandchildren Corey Holmes, Max Caro, Olivia Caro, Connor Nichols, Kyerstin Nichols, Bryanna Nichols.
A visitation for Juliet will be held Friday, July 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759. A funeral will occur Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759. A committal will occur Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759.
