

Kerri Anne Sebastian Smith, 46, passed onto Glory on September 6, 2020 at the Kindred Rehab Hospital in Tampa, Florida after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born on November 2, 1973 in Youngstown, Ohio to Ralph and Elaine Vozel Sebastian. She was a graduate of Struthers High School in 1992 and attended Youngstown State University, where she was a Student Assistant in the Political Science Department as well as a member of the Student Government. She, then graduated from The Art Institute of Tampa specializing in Merchandising. At her passing, she worked as an Administrative Specialist in the Parkinson’s Disease Research Department at the University of South Florida after many years of working for Serious Skin Care at HSN and Shop HQ. She was also a member of Harbourside Christian Church in Safety Harbor, where she volunteered for the production team.
She is survived by her loving husband, Steven Smith and daughter, the light of her life, Sabrina. Also surviving are her parents, sisters, Lisa (Scott) Sylvester and Jodi (Todd) Mark, mother-in-law, Waldina Smith, sisters-in-law, Kay Smith, Elaine Curran and Nancy Tillman, niece, Kaylin Sylvester, nephews, Jordan Mark, Jeremy Sylvester, Reed Curran and Tyler Tillman, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, especially her “Mom Squad”. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Wayne Smith, nephew, Gregg Zegal and grandparents, Frank and Frances Vozel and Patsy and Florence Sebastian. Kerri was known for her love of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as well as her special love for her family and a true friend to those who knew her. Always smiling and with a vivacious spirit, she will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be at 11am – 1pm on Saturday, September 12th at the Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL 33759. Following is the funeral service at 1pm with Rev. Adrian Traurig of Harbourside Christian Church who will officiate both the funeral and graveside services. These can be viewed at CentralBayMarket.com, service password is Kerri9122.
