Laura had a passion for life. She loved good food, celebrating life, and spending time with her dog, Einstein. Every holiday she and Einstein celebrated with festive outfits and activities. Her thirst for learning and adventure was boundless. Laura traveled the world and shared her cheerful spirit with everyone she met. Triumphant in the face of adversity, she went on to play competitive tennis after her lung transplant.
Laura is remembered fondly by family and friends. She is survived by mother, Ellen Artale; father, Joseph Artale; husband, Matthew Burns; step-daughter, Arianna Burns; cousin, Larry Kornweiss. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Sunshine Corgi Rescue.
