Lily & Sobhy Jacob

Lily was born on December 5th 1930 to Yessa and Maria Morgan in Egypt. After high school, Lily went on to be the first in her family to seek a higher degree in teaching. Throughout her teaching career, her infamous stubborn streak was an inspiration to her students, refusing to ever give up on them.

Lily was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others. Now that she has passed into the arms of our Lord on one of her favorite holidays, Coptic Christmas, her physical life on earth is over but it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her in Heaven.

Lily joins her husband Sobhy, her parents, her brother Adly, and her sister Labeeka in Heaven. She is survived by her children Robert, Ralph, Teresa, her daughter-in-law Lisa and her granddaughter Angelina.

Please join us for Lily's service at 12:30pm on Monday, January 12, 2026 at St. Mary & St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church, 2930 County Rd. 193, Clearwater, FL 33759. Immediately following, she will be laid to Rest at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759.

Sobhy Jacob, 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12th, 2009 at his home in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
