
On Friday, August 7, 2020, Lorraine MacDonald, after a lengthy illness, passed away at her home, and now rests with the angels, whom she so dearly loved. Lorraine was born on September 2, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan, and was lovingly raised, along with her younger sister Joyce, in Dearborn, Michigan, by her parents, Gilbert and Sophia Rameriz. Lorraine spent many years of her adult life in Colchester, Connecticut, where she raised her children. In 1988, Lorraine and her beloved husband, James (I.e.Mac), moved to Oldsmar, Florida, where she resided for the remainder of her life, in what she often referred to as " Paradise on Earth". Her many friends and family will miss her forever.
Lorraine was preceded by her parents, Gilbert and Sophia,her husband James and her first son David. She is survived by her sister Joyce Crile and her husband Gary who reside in Summerfield, Florida. She is also survived by her eldest daughter Diana Wayne and her husband Richard Schieding, in Springfield, Mass; her second daughter, Bette Nottingham, from Bend, Oregon; her youngest daughter Sandra Cote, from Oldsmar, Florida; and her second son Leon Dalbec, from Oldsmar, Florida. Lorraine is further survived by her six grandchildren; Michael Wayne, Derek Wayne, Ryan Nottingham, Kelly Nottingham, James Cote and Jessica Dalbec; five great grandchildren, numerous other members of family, and many, many friends.
Although Lorraine, asked that no memorial services be conducted upon her entrance to heaven, Lorraine will always be in our hearts, prayers and thoughts.
