Marlene Ann Winter Mahoney

of Clearwater passed away Jan. 18, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cleveland, OH August 23, 1931 to Kurt and Genevieve Winter.

She is preceded in death by her husband George and a brother Kurt Winter. Marlene is survived by 3 daughters, Colleen Mahoney (Dennis Thombs); Marreen (Joe) Majer; Shareen (John) McNie; 2 brothers, Ronald (Ann) Winter, Gary (Debbie) Winter; 4 grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Brett Majer, Brittney Majer, John McNie, Ryan Thombs; several loving nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law, Annabelle Zeitler, Gloria Winter and Ann Winter.

She was a member at St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Clearwater and volunteered many years at the church, St. Cecelia School and Clearwater Central Catholic High School.

Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 23rd , 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 S. Belcher Rd, Clearwater and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Jan 24th at 11am at St. Cecelia Catholic Church, 820 Jasmine Way, Clearwater with committal to follow at Sylvan Abbey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Cecelia Church, St. Cecelia School or Clearwater Central Catholic High School.
