On May 31, 2011 heaven received a beautiful angel. MaryAnn passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and Hospice. MaryAnn is survived by a son John D Langfritz, wife Renee', grandson Jason. She leaves behind 2 loving sisters Sandra Stansbury, husband Bob The Villages, FL. Johnnie Mae Von Hilsheimer, husband George Maitland, FL. 4 nephews and their families- Patrick and Elizabeth Stansbury, children Tate and Grant, Franklin, TN. Michael and Carol Stansbury, children Abbey and Lauren Franklin, TN. Dennis Warner and fiancé Linda , children Colin, Kelly, Connor and Candace Winter Park, FL. Derek and Katie Warner, children Ella and Jack Winter Park, FL. MaryAnn leaves behind many loving friends across the United States and abroad. She never met a stranger and always left people with a smile on their face and love and happiness in their hearts. MaryAnn will be missed by all who had the fortune of knowing her.
She will be remembered for all the love and pride she took in her home, her gorgeous yard and all of her beautiful plants, her ability to brighten a room with her presence, her laugh and smile. Her strength and positive outlook in the worst adversity and taught all around her that it was always better to be kind and "upbeat" than grumpy and mean. Also her love for watching TV and movies! Her daily phone calls with her sisters to discuss the latest happenings on DWTS, American Idol, Oprah, or what books they just read. Her daily chats on the phone w/ all of her girlfriends locally and out of state. Her zest for living everyday to the fullest, including her water aerobics class and all the wonderful women she met there that rapidly became her dear friends to all of her long time friends she kept from Gayfers and the Golden Girls. She enjoyed all of her luncheons and outings with all of her friends and wouldn't miss a one. MaryAnn has left love and memories in all of our hearts that her absence will never take away. She wanted to be remembered with a smile and a memory of happier times shared, not sorrow and tears.
Rest in peace you precious angel, as the world was a better place while you were her with us, but now heaven has never been more beautiful.
