

McMillan, Mary Lou, 80, of Dunedin passed away July 30, 2018, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. Mary Lou was born in Kentucky on July 1, 1938 and moved to Florida in 1952. She was a graduate of Clearwater High School in 1956. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank A. (Jr.) and Mary Phipps; her husband, John McMillan; and an infant son. Mary Lou is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jeff Barnett; siblings, Gerry Connelly and Frank A. Phipps, III; grandchildren, Logan and Collin Barnett; and nieces and nephews, Donna and Keith Maroney, Eddie and Kim Seals, Lisa and Bryan Keisler, Leah and Seth Smith, Todd and Amanda Phipps; and great nieces and nephews. Mary Lou was a fiercely independent, strong, kind and loving woman with a beautiful smile and generous nature. Her family was the center of her world and brought her great pride and joy. Mary Lou volunteered for her grandchildren's schools for many years and was an avid bingo player. She will be remembered for the way she loved her family and laughed so easily. Mary Lou's memorial service will be Saturday, August 4, 2018; 11am Visitation, 12pm funeral service at the Sylvan Abbey funeral home, and 1pm committal service at the Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
