Michael Bellavia

Michael Bellavia of Clearwater, Florida passed away on August 19, 2018 in Clearwater as the result of an automobile accident. He was 40 years old. Michael was born in Smithtown, New York on Febuary 18th, 1978 and was raised in Centereach, New York on Long Island. Michael moved to the Clearwater, Florida area in the late 1990's where he met his future wife Kelley Mawhinney. Michael and Kelley were married at Clearwater Beach on October 2, 2009.

Michael had a lifelong fascination with anything mechanical and was always working with cars, trucks, motorcycles, go carts, and anything else with an engine. He worked his way through the automobile repair industry and was sole proprietor of an automobile repair shop, Park Auto in Pinellas Park.

Michael and Kelley had two wonderful children, Gavin (8) and Ireley (4), and they recently moved to Kelley's grandparents house on Boy Scout Lake. With plenty of land the family enjoys riding four wheelers and bicyles, fishing, jumping on the trampoline, and sitting around campfires telling stories.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Kelley Bellavia, his son Gavin, his daughter Ireley, all of Clearwater, his Father and Mother, Richard and Concetta Daniels, of Centereach, NY, and his Grandmother, Domenica Bellavia, also of Centereach, NY. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.

The funeral service will be held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, this Friday 8/24 at 1pm.
