Carmen ... my mom and dad shared with me the news of Ciso's passing. You were both so lovely during our time in Southwick, and I remember fondly spending time with the girls. He was one of the nicest men I've ever met in my life. Thank you for sharing the photos with him in them. Viewing them took me from feeling sad to smiling and even having a chuckle seeing him outside cooking.

I only knew Ciso for a short time, but I loved his contageous laugh and the sparkle in his eyes when he was teasing.  I loved the way he called my dog "Big Head".  He had a big, warm heart and a willing spirit.  It was a joy to watch him and Carmen interact together.  I know he will be greatly missed, but I am also convinced his place in Heaven is assured. My memories of my grandfather are those of a tough-as-nails, happy man who always enjoyed a social event. Every time there was a party surely he would be at the head of it. When I decided to take up guitar he was ecstatic about it. "Its about time one of my grandchildren wants to learn a musical instrument,". I'm only disappointed in the fact that I didn't even play a single song for him. Perhaps one day I can.

Hey Grandpa. It's funny how when your trying to remember some memory nothing comes to mind. I think you already know how I feel Grandpa. So I saw you Grandpa, that day with the follower of the St. Francis of Asssi. After that day, I was fine. And I know that your happy in Heaven and your probably doing all your crazy Grandpa stuff. You led a good life and you were kind to everyone. And I don't know how many times I'm going to cry, I'm even crying now. But you wouldn't want us sad forever. You'd want us to be happy for you because you went to the place where I'm sure everyone wants to go. I know I want to. So Grandpa, I'm going to miss you, and everyone single one of us will, but we'll get through it all and we'll be happy because thats the only way you'd want us to be.

Grandpa, you were a wonderful role model in my life, and a great friend. I am glad that I had a grandfather like you to show me that with a lot of hard work and effort you can do anything you ever wanted to do.  I am grateful for all the wonderful memories that you gave me. I love you.

I can understand why God would take my dad so soon. He was so special and loved by so many because of his contagious enthusiasm for life. I know that he is in a much better place and he will be there to greet me when my time comes. He leaves a huge void in my heart. I just hope that he knew how grateful I am for all that he did for me and that I love him more than words can ever express.
