Norma Jean loved traveling abroad and cruising the warm oceans. She also loved a good party and could hang with those 20 years younger. She was captivating, hilarious and a sparkplug of energy. Norma Jean had a wealth of happiness and it was contagious.
Norma Jean also had a soft spot in her heart for the poor, sick and elderly. What she lacked in resources, she made up for with volunteerism. She would often volunteer her time at the local food centers to care for the needy. Norma Jean was faithful, fair and forgiving. She had a strong faith in God. She was drawn to the word of the Lord and deserves a place in the holy kingdom.
Norma Jean is survived by her three children Kenneth Santiago, Emblez Longoria and his wife Kristi and Charlene Longoria. Norma Jean had five wonderful grandchildren, Alicia, Alivia, Jose, Victor and Chase. Norma Jean had six siblings, Al, Maria, Ismael, Santa, Elsie and Rafael who pre-deceased her.
Norma Jean’s grandchildren called her “Abuelita” and she was known to cook up a storm during the holidays. Everyone loved her food and hospitality. She had many, many close friends including Frederick McElroy and Emily Shull.
Norma Jean will be greatly missed and those who were fortunate enough to know her will never forget her wonderful smile and warm heart. Norma Jean lived her life like most of us wished we could!
