Peggy Oneil Nickelson of Clearwater, Florida, age 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
She was born in Samson, Alabama, August 6, 1937, to Jonah and Tennie Johnson. She married Bill Nickelson in 1955. She is survived by her two sons, Christopher and Bryce Nickelson, a granddaughter, Nina, and two sisters, Sharon Armstrong and Sandra Johnson.
A lifelong sports fan, Peggy loved watching the Tampa Bay Rays and the Alabama Crimson Tide, cheering and critiquing the teams right until the end.
She was unforgettable, and her family will miss her deeply.
