He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on May 5, 1960. Pete graduated from Dunedin High School and received a Bachelor's in Aviation from Auburn University.
Pete always wanted to be a pilot and worked for Mountain Air Cargo for about 36 years.
Pete was full of life and loved to be outdoors. His favorite activities included fishing, tennis, pickleball, street hockey, and riding his bike alone or with friends. He was very passionate about sports, especially Auburn football. His other passion was his 1972 Mercury Montego GT that he had since high school. Pete loved animals and was especially fond of German Shepherds. Pete lit up a room with his sense of humor and was incredibly kind, loving, and caring.
He was survived by his daughter, Rachel Brockman, his mother, Norma Brockman, and his sister, Pamela Freeman.
A celebration of life for Peter will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759, followed by a reception from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
