Uncle Raymond taught all of us many things when we were growing up, more then anything was that we should be respectful, but he always had that mischievous smile. What a good man, mentor and uncle. You will be missed. My condolences to all of the family that loved him so well.

Raymond E. Griffin. Uncle Ray. The memories...The BEST. I remember growing up in the Griffin Clan. The lake, picnics, fish fries, fishing with Papa, king of the dock, the grove, fresh juice at breakfast, Deere John, Grandma's chicken and dumplings, ice cream Sunday evening, Grandma Lowe and Aunt Jessie, and especially Uncle Ray. All good memories. 
When I worked at Barnett Bank, Uncle Ray made it a point to stop in and visit a couple of times each week. It was a time just to talk "family" and it was good for both of us.
To my dear cousins Denise, Brenda and Linda; the years have taken us away from the lake and much of the family. And we lose loved ones, but we will never lose the memories. Not of you, and not of your Dad, my dear Uncle Ray.
Aunt Diane, our thoughts and prayers are with you and all the family. We love you.
Keep his memories with you. They are the best. We'll miss him.

Our childhood memories sitting with you and many other uncles and aunts over the years will last through eternity, whether they were at the home on Hanna, out by Lake Platt with the orange grove behind us, or as a guest in your home in Largo years ago.  You've been an inspiration of love, encouragement, guidance, strength and great support over those years.  We will always miss you, but know that you are with the rest of the family in the heavens above, keep a candle lit for the rest of us to be with you again one day.
