He was born on February 8, 1951, in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Nancy and Robert J. Jeffers.
Following high school, Bob enlisted in the United State Air Force in May 1970, where he spent his career and earned an MBA. He retired in June 1999, as a Chief Master Sergeant. Upon retirement, Bob was an agility judge for the American Kennel Club and traveled extensively in this role.
He is survived by his wife, Laura; two sons and a daughter; several grandchildren; three siblings and other extended family members.
A graveside service for Bob will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 10:30, Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Bob’s name to the American German Shepherd Rescue Association (AGSRA) and mailed to Patty Szymczak, 1527 Mohawk Drive, Schaumburg, IL 60193.
