Roy Edward Barber

born on August 25, 1939, died on July 8, 2014. Roy was born in Batavia, NY. He lived in Byron and Elba, NY. Roy worked at General Motors in Rochester, NY, where he was truck driver. He also was a volunteer firefighter in Byron and Elba, NY. He moved to Largo, FL in 2000.

Roy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gail. He had seven children: Laurie (Tim) Turner; Lisa (Dennis) Payne; Tammie (Scott) Atkinson; Thomas (Casey) Fellows; Mark (Sue) Barber; David (Cheryl) Fellows; and Shannon (David) Walter. He had 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Roy is also survived by 3 sisters and 1 brother. Roy was a member at St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Clearwater, FL.

Friends will be received on Friday, July 11th, from 4-8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 S. Belcher Road, Clearwater. The Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, July 12th at St. Cecelia Catholic Church, 820 Jasmine Way, Clearwater. Donations may be made to Suncoast Hospice.
