Susan Irma Woodruff

She was born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey on December 8, 1951 to the late Genevieve (Huzar) & Ralph Woodruff.

She was a Travel Agent and worked in the Service industry in her younger years. She also worked at the Point Pleasant hospital in Admissions. She moved to Florida to care for her parents in their later years. There, she opened and ran a yogurt / ice cream shop.

She loved gardening and birds and raised cockatiels in her younger years. She has a beautiful Koi pond and a gorgeous yard filled with flowers. She would work vigorously in the yard and participated in many Highland Lakes garden tours!

Susan loved sparkly crystals and started a beading hobby, and began selling what she made in small shops.

She didn’t have any children and never married, but she cherished her niece, Meghan Elizabeth Woodruff, in her later years, like a daughter. She also leaves to cherish her memory Meghan's two children, Rylie Lockwood MacNeill and Mason MacNeill; her brother, Thomas Barry Woodruff (wife, Patricia - dec'd); and sisters, Linda Pielka and Kim Mulligan; and her companion, John Olejack.

A celebration of life for Susan will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759.
