Veta Felmus

Veta (Reizner) Felmus, 84 passed away surrounded by her children on November 21,2019. A resident of Belleair, FL. Veta was born in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Sol and Ethel Reizner and sister to Raymond Reizner. She met the love of her life, Neil L. Felmus at the University of Illinois, and were married in Chicago. They moved to Schenectady, NY after college later moving to San Jose, CA before finally settling in Belleair.

Veta was a Speech Pathologist and practiced in Schenectady, NY and was an avid reader, loved needle pointing, calligraphy, and cooking. She was famous for baking cookies for everyone who came to the house. One of her greatest joys was traveling the world making her way to all seven continents. She was active in the Jewish Federation of Pinellas and Pasco County serving on its Board.

She is survived by her three children. Ronald (Benita), Jeffrey (Hannah Lieder), Cheryl (Mort) Malkin and five grandchildren, Hayley Malkin, Norah Malkin, Samantha Felmus, Nicole Felmus, and Nathan Felmus and her brother, Raymond (Traci) Reizner.

Services will be held at Sylvan Abby Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Rd., Clearwater, FL 33759 on Sunday at noon.
