Violet Gabbard

Known as “Vi” to family and friends, she was admired for her strength of character, creativity, and gregarious spirit, as well as her unwavering devotion to her family. A talented craftswoman, enthusiastic card player, and gracious host, she was especially recognized for her competitive nature and her exceptional baking. Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose love and pride in her family remained constant throughout her life.

Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Vi was a dedicated supporter of the Michigan Wolverines. After relocating to Clearwater in 1982, she became an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

She is survived by her three sons, one daughter, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Violet will be remembered for her resilience, her faith, and the enduring impact she had on all who knew her.
