

Born on August 15, 1932, in Hornell, New York, Virginia was the cherished daughter of the late Ruth Miller and Walter Sengstock. She graduated from Hornell High School in 1950 and went on to work in customer service within the marketing industry, where her warmth and dedication touched many.
In 1984, Virginia moved to Florida to be closer to her family—a decision that brought her great joy. A devoted mother and treasured friend, she lived for time spent with loved ones. Her family was truly her everything.
Virginia had a lifelong love of the arts. She was a talented artist, known especially for her beautiful oil paintings. She also enjoyed sewing and other crafts, always finding ways to make the world around her more beautiful.
She is survived by her loving children: Kathleen DeHainaut, Linda (Julia) Polcovich, Susan (Clayton) Stutzman, and Patricia (Jim) Woodruff; grandchildren: Carrie (Tim) Koeler, Laura (Tom) Dunning, Kelly (Jim) Grim, Tonya (Scott Attarien) Bowes, Jen (Steve) Morgan, Jason DeHainaut, Eric DeHainaut, Megan (Ben Fish) Woodruff, Kyle (Melissa) Woodruff, Ben Flanders, Emily Flanders; great grandchildren: Emma, Natalie, Clayton, Ayden, Mason, Vivian, Adelaide, Pierce, Sadie, Mya, Carter, Noah, Chloe, Ryan, Kevin; many extended family members and friends.
Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved sons, Karl and Mark Flanders, as well as her parents.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later time.
