Wanda G. Lewis, age 86, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023. Wanda was born in Clearwater, FL on December 3, 1936 to Asa Owens and Lela Mercer Owens. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years; William Lewis, her children; Susan Penney, Kathy Carroll, and Brian (Kathy) Lewis, grandchildren; Jamie (Jeremy) Stillwell, Christopher Tezzas, Lindsey Carroll, and Spencer Lewis, and her sister; Vickie Freyberger and her two furry companions; Rascal and Shadow.
Wanda was a Clearwater native born and raised. Wanda was very active in her church, Starkey Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, dining out, getting an occasional Frosty from Wendy's, and was a fan of the Tampa Bay Rays.
A visitation for Wanda will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759. A funeral service will occur at 1:00 PM with a graveside service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Starkey Road Baptist Church.
