William John GILBERT, age 75, of Clearwater, Florida. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Gilbert of Clearwater Florida. Bill passed away April 15, 2022 of natural causes. Bill was born October 20, 1946 to parents Elmer and Virginia Gilbert in Detroit Michigan. After graduating from Northern Michigan University he went to be the Operations Manager at Detroit Transfer Company. He was also a serial entrepreneur. In 1999, Bill met Chris Georgallis in Boynton Beach Florida where they later married. Bill was predeceased by parents Elmer and Virginia Gilbert and survived by his wife Chris Georgallis, Brother Robert Gilbert (Martha), 3 children Jodi Thrush (Bo), James Filbert (Susan), and Judi Wilson (Brad) and 6 Grandchildren, Kyle, Sarah, Payten, Nathan, Charlotte, and Elizabeth. After Bill retired he spent his time golfing, and appending time with family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
